Laminate Flooring Inspectors

What to expect from your Inspector:

The inspection process typically starts with obtaining history related to your claim. Some of the common questions the inspector will be asking are; date of installation, date problems were noticed, was the flooring professionally installed....

The inspector will ask how the floor is being maintained and how many people and pets occupy the home.

The flooring is evaluated by overall observations, moisture tests, inspecting for expansion and floor flatness, and measurements.

Once history, maintenance and test data is obtained from the site inspection the inspector will complete a report. The inspectors report is neutral third party, and is based on the facts and test data obtained from the inspection.

Inspectors are obligated to submit the report to the commissioning party, which means the report cannot be shared with anyone other than the party who hired them.

What types of problems warrant a Certified Flooring Inspector's Services.

When you need a third party, non-biased inspection.
When the problem requires special expertise, such as knowing
how to perform forensic investigation of an installed flooring material.
When your retailer or installer is not assisting you in your claim,
or their answers to your complaint don’t appear logical.
When the Manufacturer, Distributor or Retailer inspected the
flooring and the final report states “there are no manufacturing
defects”, leaving you with unanswered questions.

If your situation fits into any or all of these categories, an
Inspector's services are a worthwhile investment.
